Kanine to serve as new Emmet County Clerk

PETOSKEY — Suzanne R. Kanine will fill the long-vacant position of Emmet County Clerk.

In an Emmet County press release issued Friday, 57th Circuit Court Judge Charles W. Johnson announced that he has appointed Kanine, who has worked for the department since March 2015, to fill the spot. Former clerk Juli Wallin left the position unexpectedly in August. READ MORE
